Meet the Broker

Hello and Welcome to HFY!

I am Tanita Evans, the Broker and Owner of this fine establishment.

Real Estate is such an exciting and multifaceted industry. I have always been drawn to "All things Real Estate"; the wonderful people I get to meet and help along the way, the administrative skills it takes to get a transaction closed, the properties' construction, architecture, landscapes and designs and overall the ability to assist people in securing their financial freedom.

For many years and still, I have had great success as a property manager and real estate investor as well as designing and renovating lovely homes from construction to interior. I am also a fine art and antique collector and dealer and find great pleasure in upcycling and restoring fine homes and furnishings to it's natural beauty.

In 2002, I decided to pursue my passion and began my Real Estate career as a Sales Associate for Exit Realty. I learned so much, receiving hands-on training from some of the best in the business and quickly became a Top Producing agent for the firm.

Sadly in 2014; our Broker and dear friend Charles Onwuka of Exit Realty Here For You passed away. It was very unexpected and a great loss to his family and our team. Just 2 days before his passing, Charlie called and begged me to go for my Brokers License. I'll be honest...At the time, I simply was not trying to hear it. I knew that Brokering a firm and its associates was a big and stressful responsibility. His last words to me rung loudly and so I took on the challenge.

In his honor, I named the firm HFY which means Here For You and it is a promise we don't take lightly.

Integrity and our clients' successful outcome is very important to me and so I am selective in choosing Sales Professionals to represent all we stand by. Our Professionals are caring, skilled, experienced and committed to the clients' best interest.

I absolutely love what I do; so much so that after 20 years in business; I am still very much in touch with my very first client and every client there after. Through real estate I have built long term and solid relationships. I take pride in knowing that my job is not done after closing, my clients are my friends.
